The cgHuman allows you to get anatomical accuracy into your characters without the need to spend hours of your time creating skeleton, muscles and skin.

cgHuman V2.0 has a matching high quality skeletal model, a comprehensive set of muscles and high quality skin. The musculature has been tested extensively in-house for doing character animation - and has performed very well.
The cgHuman brings you a proven set of muscles on a high quality skeleton all tested and ready to function well for character animation.

The skeleton is anatomically correct and as much as possible the muscles are also - although everything is tuned for character animation rather than overly detailed anatomical work.

There is also a matching high quality skin that is even suitable for close up facial work! As a part of Absolute Character Tools it is rigged and ready to go, in other formats it is a static model set, requiring rigging.
Anatomical models:
The cgHuman is designed primarily for character animation and while it is as anatomically accurate as possible, compromises have be made to favor ease of character animation. This only applies to the muscles - the skeleton is anatomically accurate!

If complete anatomical accuracy is needed then The Ultimate Human model is favoured. This is the most complete and accurate model of the human musculo-skeletal system ever made.

cgHuman V 2.0 includes:

Skeleton:
New Optimised Complete human Skeleton with more detailed Spine, Skull and Ribcage. 197 objects.
Muscles:
218 parametric muscles tuned for character animation - facial muscles included.
all existing muscles have been re-modeled and shaped for closer conformity to anitomical reference + 40 additional muscles have been added including more accurate Facial muscles.
Skin: Better Optimised Low Rez skin - conforms to the Ultimate Human Shape with new improved UVW co- ordinates.(ACT version, has better skinning and mesh Deformation) 4382 polys unsubdivied.
Textures: muscle texture maps - muscle UV mapping encodes muscle/tendon transitions.

Formats:
3dsMax version - the 3dsMax version has a better skinning solution supporting wrist twist ulnar and radius rotation and better shoulder deformation, ACT version has more improved and stable muscle deformation added.
